Life has been sooo nuts everything has been slacking on my part....eating...working out...blogging...everything!!!
the past 2 days I have started to crack down on myself again. Really watching what I am eating and yesterday I got back on the treadmill. What an accomplishment it is when I run a whole mile. After like .60 of a mile my mind is totally ready to call it quits but I took a moment to think and actually feel how I was truly feeling and I don't myself "My body feels totally fine, nothing hurts this is in your head just keep going." lol I know that sounds corny but it is really what happened and it totally worked. The awesome thing is, I'm not even sore today. Usually when I run a mile I am pretty sore the next day. I'm kind of bummed because I wanted to run again today but I am going out to dinner tonight with a girlfriend. We are going to this really cool restaurant called Fish Bones. It's a small little place and they have a fish market inside as well. I've been there one other time and I get the haddock every time it is sooo good I can't wait!!!

Yum! Fish and seafood is so healthy for you :) I don't eat red meat, pork or poultry, so my proteins come from seafood and tofu and legumes, primarily. Anyways, have a great time. It looks like theres a fishbones in Detroit. We haven't ventured to Detroit yet, but whenever it is that we go, I will keep it in mind!!
Also, I try to tell myself "mind over matter" when I'm working out. I think it helps :)

I know what you mean. Sometimes when I am on the eliptical at the gym I try to talk myself out of finishing my workout. I am tired or it's too warm in here or some other excuse. Most of the time I don't buy into it and make myself finish and then I feel so good about it. Keep up the good work, you're worth it.
