Well Hello
Hey Guys! Sorry I kind of took off there for a bit, I am still working this whole thing out. I am getting that stuck feeling a few times a week and I am frustrated. Mostly frustrated with myself because my food choices have been poor and I'm getting stuck pretty much because my band is telling me to knock it off lol. I am so ready to get back on track because getting stuck really hurts and it really hard to hide when you have eaten out. On a good note, Monday the 21st is my one year wedding anniversary so my hubbie and I are doing a bunch of fun things this weekend! Please talk to me about how your fills are going and what you have experienced because I REALLY need sosme guidance!

I've had 2 fills (up to 7cc) and have had maybe 4-5 stuck episodes. One being a horrible hour and 45 minutes. The others maybe only 15 mins. The last two episodes (in the last wk) have been from salad. Don't knwo if I didn't chew the lettuce well enough (you know the harder pieces) or if raw lettuce will be something I cannot tolerate. I had one for dinner about 3 hrs ago and still feel a slight tightness in my upper chest.
My 3rd fill was scheduled for last wk but I put it off b/c I was sooo busy and now I'm waiting to see if I get stuck on anything else. If so, I may just attempt a TINY fill late next week.
Hope all goes for you. Planning my meals has seemed to help a lot w/ choosing right foods and not getting stucky!
I've only had one fill and that was just done yesterday, so I am woefully inexperienced there.
But I can relate to being stuck. Lemon Gate lasted about 4 days and it was very painful-- but also scary. Cuz the whole time I was thinking, "Oh no, what have I done to the band, will this always happen?"
I hope your stuck issues stop this week. It's not fun being stuck and I guess you must feel really discouraged when it happens. Would you think about posting what you're eating and letting us know what gets stuck and what doesn't this week?
The more experienced bandsters could weigh in and newbies like me could learn from your experiences? (No pressure!)
I have been getting stuck lately every few days. Sometimes its because I dont chew well enough. Most of the time I dont feel restriction, and as long as I chew I can eat as much as I used to; but if I swallow something without chewing it, look out. Ouch! And also in the mornings I get stuck even if I do chew well. I have heard that mornings are tight for a lot of people so they chose yogurt for breakfast. Makes sense to me! I should try my own advice! Anyways, my point is that I think for me getting stuck is something Im going to have to deal with because Im already getting stuck and I am hardly restricted. I dont think I will be able to avoid it even if I chew well and yada yada because sometimes it happens when I do everything right. Its a side effect that is unavoidable for me and I'm not even filled to restriction yet.
