Wednesday Weigh In - One Day Late, Sorry!!

So yesterday was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! I took the day off to go to my one year post op appointment at Lahey. I weighed in at 210 yesterday but woke up 209 this morning so I am super super siked!!! Pam (my nurse practitioner) said that there are like “levels” of obesity and once you hit a BMI of 35 that brings you to a level 1 so she was really happy because I am down to a level 1 now!

So she went through all the normal questions about am I hungry and this and that. I told her that from breakfast to lunch I am golden but from lunch to dinner I could eat my arms off lol. She said that there is an actual physical reason for that…so get this…..

When you are sleep at night, all your bodily fluids are more dispersed and they are around your band making it tighter feeling and as the day progresses and your now upright, the fluids move back down to your legs and lower abdomen and don’t make the band feel as tight…interesting huh? Pam of course said it more sophisticated but you get the idea!

Anyway lets talk fills…I totally let her decided what to put in…I actually didn’t even know what she had done until she was already through with giving me the fill. She gave me .4 and she said she really thinks that will put me in the right spot. So I am up to 7.2cc. I am taking it really slow!!! I had a cottage cheese this morning you know one of those like 4 oz ones and I didn’t finish it and I am going to try and get some kind of soup this afternoon.

So I just wanted to keep you all updated!!! Hope you are all doing fab!

I'm glad you went in for a fill. Your weightloss chart covered most of your post-not sure why but I couldnt read the first part. Looking at the chart the first thing I thought was ..wow she needs a fill-and you did so that is awesome.

I was just examining my chart today it is totally obvious the places where I needed a fill and where i got one. I like the graph and wonder sometimes if I shouldnt have been bringing it into the doctors office to show him all this time.

wishing you more scale movement from here on.
