Wednesday Weigh In

Last Wednesday's Weight: 159lbs
This Wednesday’s Weight: 158lbs

I did ok most days with my water intake. Still not as good as I would like it to be. I am not sure how to make myself drink anymore. I am still going to work on this as I think it is extremely vital to continued weight loss.

I think I have mastered making the mid morning snack a habit at this point. It’s a good alternative seeing I can’t really eat breakfast. I am not going to include this on my goals for this week because like I said I think its habit now. I will continue this indefinitely.

Basically I still had my one cup of coffee everyday and when I was super craving another one, I had tea instead. Not really what I was aiming to do but it seems to work and saves me a boat load of calories so I like this idea.

Cardio is where I am continuing to excel. Like last week I worked out 6 days this past week, I skipped last Thursday. On Saturday I decided to give running a try again and I am so glad that I did! Now that I have lost so much weight running feels very easy. Sunday like you all read, I ran 1.5 miles without stopping and that is the longest I have ever ran for without a break. I could go longer physically but it is a mind over matter thing at this point.  I am going continue to aim for cardio 5 times a week but put the focus on building up the length of time I can run for.

I never did Jackie’s Circuit Training this week. I think I threw too much at myself and this was just overload. I am going to focus on cardio to get this weight off and when I hit goal, then worry about firming up.

Like last week, I only ate at a drive thru 1 time. This is amazing to me that I have done this. In the past 2 weeks I have eaten only 2 times somewhere with a drive thru, I use to do this almost every day. I am going to continue to keep this on my list. I don’t feel like its habit yet, I still have to think about this one. You should try this though not only is it good for your waist but it is good for your wallet too!

This Week’s Goals at a Glance……
  • Drink 68 ounces of water daily (more would be good)
  • Only 1 Coffee per day, then it’s tea
  • Build upon my running time, 5x per week or more
  • Don't eat anywhere that has a Drive Thru

I'm a new follower, and it looks like you are doing SO well! I love your picture from June 2011 - beautiful. Your goals are awesome - I need to get on the bandwagon with that water...it's so imperative. You are awesome!

I too was a drive thru addict! It was nothing for me to have McD's for breakfast and then some other form of takeaway for dinner.

Because you can only eat a small portion now I would much rather cook something tasty at home and really enjoy it.
