Thank you for all your encouraging words, they were very helpful!! All week long I have actually done really well tracking my calorie intake. I have not exceeded 1,500 each day. Monday I had 1,445......Tuesday I had 1,395.....and Wednesday I had 1,485. It's funny I know it has only been a few days but it gets a little easier as each day goes by.
I have not been doing cardio but I am working my upper body out a lot. I know that is playing a part with my silly scale. It's weird because I finally don't have that fat feeling anymore but the scale still went up?? I don't get it. I'm not too concerned though because if I just give it time it always comes back down! =)

Bre, first off, yay for the elevated attitude :)
Secondly, people will say silly things like "muscle weighs more than fat". A pound is a pound. BUT a pound of muscle is smaller and DENSER than a pound of fat. Think of a gumball next to a marshmallow. The pound of fat is going to be smaller on you, hold you in like a built in girdle! So you are likely building muscle, temporarily even gaining a bit of weight but eventually it gets to the point where the number doesn't matter and it's truly how your clothes fit. ( I swear it happens, I didn't believe it either. ) You know how you look at a steak in the grocery store, and it has the yummy marbling... the striations of fat running through the meat (meat = muscle) well, even THAT fat, INSIDE of your muscle is decreasing as you lose. Don't let the scale rule your life... when I was losing I would actually NOT work out as hard because I wanted to see those numbers drop. Once I educated myself I learned how beneficial it is. You're doing awesome. Don't let your caloric intake drop too much, you will actually stop losing if your numbers are too low because your body will think it's starving and hold on for all it's worth!
Have you tried the Couch to 5 K program.... that will be cardio PLUS working your lower body at the same time. Keep up the great work :)
You are keeping the great attitude which is the whole ball game with this weight loss stuff! Kudos to you!
I think you are looking amazing!
