Some of you may recall 14 months ago when I blogged from my hospital bed at LAHEY CLINIC on the day of my surgery. Get ready for some dejavu!!!
Let me put your mind at ease right now, nothing is wrong with my baby band Mariah. THANK YOU JESUS!!!!! So here goes the story...........
I was absolutely fine all day on Friday it was just another typical day. Around 5:30PM I got home from work and I made myself some dinner. I was watching a few minutes of TV and my back began to hurt just down the sides, not the center. I assumed it was gas pains especially when the pain began in the center of my stomach additionally. Eventually my whole abdomen as well as my back was just getting worse and worse. I tried 3 different gas pain relievers but had no success. 11PM rolled around and it was unbearable at that time. My Mom was doing searches online and thought it was my Gaul bladder. Even though I still just thought it was gas I had to go to the ER because I was pretty much in the fetal position.
When I got there I was seen by the triage nurse almost immediately. I only waited 20 or so minutes until I was taken to a room where they put in a huge IV, they put Oxygen on me, I got an X-Ray and eventually a CT Scan. Around 6AM I finally hear the verdict --APPENDICITIS!!!!!! Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever have mine out.
So out it came on Saturday at 10AM. I was suppose to go home today, Sunday but I have spiked a really high fever of 111.4! I have n clue what is going on but I will keep you posted!!!
