Triumphs & Struggles

I once read that typically people who log what they eat are the people who tend to eat less and weigh less overall and I think it's true. When I don't log my food I don't really loose weight but I always maintain. That is good to know because when I hit my gaol someday I think I will be able to maintain with the aide of the band but until then if I want to hit my goal I think I need to log what I am eating. I do so much mindless eating throughout the day. I put my bodybugg back on at the beginning of the week and I had a pretty successful week as far as calorie intake goes - I had a deficit each day.

My struggles have been with chocolate....I can't get enough of it lol and I am not sure what the heck is going on. Like legit I ate a whole bag of those reeses chocolate eggs in like 2 days. I don't know how to talk myself out of eating things......like I get fixated on food if I know it's there I pretty much can't stop thinking about it until I've eaten it. Anyone else like this??

I didnt log my food while losing but I sure seem to need to do so now that I am trying (note the trying) maintain. I am having a heck of a time.

I never logged until ten days ago using myfitnesspal.com I log every single thing! It is a pain but I have lost nearly 5 lbs in those 10 days. It was a total eyeopener to see how many calories were in my coffee creamer alone! I also have been measuring again.
I don't want to do it forever but I like the results so far.
I almost bout a single peanut butter egg today. so. close!!

Lord have mercy, do I ever know what you mean! I've decided I'm giving up chocolate for Lent, because I just don't know how to limit myself! Ghirardelli squares are my weakness.
