Workouts and Goals

I went a little workout crazy today......sorta good, sorta bad. Good because I burned a ridiculous amount of calories....1,045!!!! Holy moly. Bad because I worked out so hard I really have not been able to re coop from it. I've been so tired and drained all day.

Another con is that I've been insanely hungry all day, like insanely hungry and I don't like it.
I can't wait until Wednesday's weight in. I'm really excited. I'm hoping for 3lbs lost to bring me to 211 that would rock.

Oh and I had this epiphany today while talking to my mom. I felt so terrible when I started this journey at 252lbs so terrible that I've been so so so thrilled and happy with my weight loss results thus far. I think that this is the reason that I really have no been all that motivated to loose quickly, I've just been so happy. I'm started reevaluate my goals. I'm not sure what my end goal weight is anymore. I've decided to right now focus on getting to 150lbs because that will put me in the normal range for my height and when I get that I'll think it over some more and choose a goal weight then.

Have you guys found yourself changing your goals as time goes by??

You know, it's ok to do an intense workout like that but you just have to be aware of what it puts your body through. When I work out regularly, I do 1-3 hrs at a time but I feel fine the rest of the day. What I do is I drink as much water during as possible, then a ton after. Then about 30 mins after I'll have a cliff bar to give my body extra protein (to help the muscles heal quicker) and then all the vitamins as well (to help bring your levels back up after an intense workout). Some go as far as to take ammino vitamins before/after workouts to prevent the fatigue and stuff. I have just found if I'm going to do an intense workout, extra protein before workout, lots of water, extra protein after and I'm A-OK the rest of the day!!! Hope that helps!
