Anyway I was putting together this little chart the other day trying to figure out if I lost this much weight every week when could I hit my goal. So I figured on 3lbs every week (aim high right?) which is tough right now but might really be doable once I hit my sweet spot. So if I can loose anywhere from 2-3lbs per week I am hit my goal of 125lbs by like April or May of 2010. That is super exciting and motivating! Seriously, write your goal weight on a peice of paper and write a date next to it and then tape it up somewhere were you would see it everyday so that it will be motivation! haha I might have to write under mine "Now go get on that darn eliptical" haha.

Holy cow, doing that goal thing scares me! lol and yet........ ok I might give it a go. I'm assuming the pic up top is in pounds and not kilos cos if it is.. then I'm under goal weight already. Go me!
Oh good idea - I should be right around the same time as you - just in time for next summers shorts and swim suits :) that is sure a positive thought - I hope we can do it :)I would like to loose 26 pounds by my birthday (early october) so that's my short term goal - that will put me in the 100's for my birthday - that will be a great gift! Let's do it!
Yep....keep your eye on the prize! And, do not get discouraged no matter what! It took me 2 years to lose the weight (of course, I'm quite a bit older than you). And, along the way--I had lots of ups and downs--which is all part of the journey. All the triumphs were wonderful...the little things like crossing my legs to the big things like being off certain meds! So, reaching the final goal is definitely what you want but you will be surprised how wonderful all those other benefits you gain along the way make the time you spend doing this all worth while! I promise you--you will lose this weight. Whether it be May 2010 or December 2010--it will happen! Keep a good dialogue going with the doctor and don't worry about if you are doing it perfectly! Perfection is over rated!! This band is YOURS...make it work for you! Keep the positive vibes going and reach out when you need support, encouragement or advice! You are a member of the Lapband family now!!

I love your idea for having a goal weight and month. Mine is 180 by August 2010 (70 lbs lost). With an ultimate goal weight of 130. My short term goal is to fit into a size 16 by October.
You're doing fabo! Yayyyyy! Yeah I currently only have my weekly goals written down on my calendar. I think that makes for too easily changing it. I must sit down tonight and print it all up. I've been hesitant b/c I wanted to wait until my 2nd fill h oping it would all speed up from there.
