I don't want to speak too soon but I think I may have hit my sweet spot, wish I knew how many cc's I was at (read previous post). I'm like taking 5 bites and feeling full, anymore than that and I've taken it too far and am sliming and gross stuff like that. I'm super siked!!
Okay so a little venting here.......a family member came over whom I LOVE so so so much, BUT okay so they say to me "Oh my gosh have you lost more weight??" I said yeah "53 down, 50ish to go." That was followed up with an "You don't even need to loose more weight."
ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!! I HATE it when skinny people tell OBESE people they don't have to lose anymore weight. Holy crap I mean look at me I am OBESE why would you say I don't have to lose anymore weight!!! Who says that???? That doesn't even make any sense.
Do you guys ever get stupid comments like that???????

I think that was a compliment, but that's just me. :) To actually loose where someone tells me that I am perfect, those words will be golden! I've heard "overweight" all my life. The thought of being considered normal and healthy, makes me happy.
I think there are lots of reasons people say it..1. you look so much better it is hard for them to imagine more 2. They very often think they look fat and therefore to them you do look skinny. 3. Maybe you do look great and you don't see it :)
I know I cannot even fathom how I look. I see the pictures and I know I don't feel like I look like I do. I am chasing a number but people say all the time now that I look good enough to stop. I take it as a compliment and keep reevaluating what I want.
Actually we visited my husbands family last weekend and I got a lot of don't lose more weight. I do think it's a compliment, but we need to do what we need to do to be healthy.
I hope you're at your sweet spot.
I get the dumb comments too. I don't take it as a compliment either. But what I hate most-people who don't say a thing-even when you say you have lost XX pounds. Except here in band-land. And I hope you got your sweet spot.
I have gotten that from both obese & thin people , i do think it's a compliment. But we know what our goals are, do not let others dictate it .
