Last Wednesday’s Weight: 188lbs
This Wednesday’s Weight: 186lbs
Wow!! I'm shocked! I step on the scale every morning and the scale has not budged from 188 until this morning! I legit stepped on the scale 3 times because I did not believe it! I was getting frustrated because I knew I was feeling smaller especially since starting my circuit training but I think with the addition of the lean muscle I've gained it took a while to even out! Thank you Jesus, I am so happy!!
That being said I really do need a fill!! I'm so excited I'm down to 1 week until my next one! So for the next week my goal is to loose 1lb - that is it. Even without a ton of restriction I think I can have enough will power to loose just one little lb. Don't you??
Going forward....
I was thinking back to right after I was banded. Before I was so afraid that everything carb related would "break" my band (haha) I was on a low carb lifestyle and it worked! I lost 35lbs in 4 months! Then after my whole unfill fiasco I started loading back up on the carbs because I had no restriction. So I was thinking of going back in time. Not to go on a low carb "diet" but I want to adapt to a lower carb lifestyle in general. We will see how it goes! To help myself along I bought this really cool book......
I'll keep you updated as I try out new recipes from the book! I read that on average if someone is trying to eat low carb that usually consist of anywhere between 20 and 50 carbs per day. It can go up to 70 grams if the person is doing cardio and weight training - which I am. The article I was reading went on to say that the average woman can have 180-230 carbs per day to meet the average demand for energy needs.
So as of right now I am going to count my carbs through the end of the year limiting myself to 70 grams per day max. However I am giving myself Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve off. As of January 1st I will up my carb intake a little until I reach a comfortable level....somewhere between the 180 and 230!
Thanks for reading my lovelies! =)

Congrats on your loss! That's awesome!!!! Also, thanks for sharing this cookbook - I need to check it out.
You're rocking it! Great loss! I know you can lose another pound by next week!
I need to lower my carb intake too.. I started out very low carb but I have ended up around 100 grams a day. I need to get it back down since my weight loss has slowed. *Maria*-blogger from "This one time at BAND Camp..." Follow my journey at mybigfatbandgeeklife.blogspot.com
