Fitting Room Fun

I knew that New York & Co. was having a sale so I wanted to go get some jeans in the next size down so that I had them when my current jeans start to fall off. When I got there I grabbed a 10 & 12 off the shelf and headed to the fitting room. My logic behind this was......the last time I bought bottoms from there I bought 12's so I figured the 10's would be a little snug and I would end up buying those, wrong. The 10's were loose! What???? So I went and grabbed a pair of 8's.

Now, let me pause and tell you something here before I continue. Size 8 has been my dream size my entire life, my whole life! I have always thought "maybe someday I could get to an 8 and I will be so so happy." Now I will continue.....

As I went back into the fitting room and I slid the 8's on they felt really good but I didn't think I could zip and button them. I slid the zipper up and closed the button and I could breathe, had no muffin top, they fit like a glove! What? They were a perfect fit, like I could have bought them and wore them to church today. Am I in a dream or something, this feels like a dream?

The whole purpose of my trip was to get a pair that were too snug because right now I have a pair that fit perfectly. So I grabbed a pair of the 6's, didn't try them on because I was sure they didn't come close to fitting and went home. When I got home I decided to give them a go, just to figure out how much I will have to loose before they will fit. To my surprise (again), I was able to zip and button them but this time they were very tight and I had a muffin top haha but I can't believe I could squeeze myself into them!!

My life is truly starting to change, this feels surreal. When I was trying the 8's on in the fitting room I took some pics for fun and to share with you! Enjoy! =)

I ve been waiting for this day....

Besides the day I hit my goal, I have been waiting for this day since before my surgery. When I was 16yrs old I had just finished weight watchers and reached 159lbs which is the smallest to date that I have EVER been in my "adult" body.

This morning I stepped on the scale with no exceptions of moving very much, I was 160.8 when I stepped on the scale yesterday morning. Well I must have been retaining some water or something yesterday because this morning I hit 159lbs even!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wicked awesome and I am still in disbelief. I cannot believe I am 159lbs again, I feel amazing. I didn't do any jumping up and down or anything like I thought I would, instead I just kind of sighed a sigh of relief and smiled. lol.

This has been an amazing journey. Now begins the really interesting part of this journey for me because I don't know what I look like any smaller than this and I cannot wait to see what that is when I finally hit my goal! =)

I had a physical today, ironically and my doctor was so so excited about my 93lbs weight loss because she sees a lot of WLS patients who aren't successful. Yay to being successful!

All you have to do is keep at it, be patient and remember this is a lifestyle not a diet! =) Thanks for all your support and encouragement. You are all the best!
