Wednesday Weigh In

Last Wednesday’s Weight: 175lbs
This Wednesday’s Weight: 173lbs

Happy Wednesday!

I'm super duper impressed with myself =) I don't think I've lost 2lbs in a week in a long time! It all makes sense though, I'm working the tripod theory! I've been eating right and the right amount of calories and working out! Last night I went running outside which I never do and the night before I ran on the treadmill. I RAN 2 WHOLE MILES - WITHOUT STOPPING!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe it, because I'm still not sure I do haha. I don't know why I did it, I just decided I was going to give it a go and it worked out.

My goal was to be 150lbs by my cruise which is just about 2 months away, but I'm not so sure I can get there now. That is close to 3lbs per week, not going to happen. Well I mean it could if I lived in the gym but I'm not realistically going to do that now am I? Maybe I can loose 2lbs per week though, that would bring me to 157 which is almost my next mini goal of 156 so let's just say my goal for the cruise is 156 now. Maybe I can do it. I'm sure you have all figured out by now that I set high goals but don't often make them lol Oh well got to dream big! =)

Skinny Dont Get It

I was reading a post on Lap Band Talk and the poster stated that when they told an individual they were getting the Lap Band that person said, and I quote "it's for lazy people".

Now hands up, how many people does that not sit right with?? I can just imagine because it doesn't sit well with me. People like this are the reason I decided not to disclose my decision. If you are still debating getting the Lap Band please don't like uninformed people like this change your mind.

Just like people who don't have a drug addiction or an alcohol addiction and therefore don't get why people can't just stop, they don't understand a food addiction either.  I mean, how could they if they have never struggled with their weight?? I think people with addictions have empathy for other people with addictions regardless of the type, I do at least.

On a completely different note...I cannot believe I didn't realize this when it happened but I am OVERWEIGHT!!! Isn't that exciting?? hahaha I find it so funny that I am excited about that just like I did when I went from Morbidly Obese to just Obese. 25lbs to go until I am "Normal" which would be the first time ever I was in the normal category - wicked cool =)
