I'm always talking about how I'd love to help raise money for people who can't afford to have the surgery because there insurance won't cover it, but I just don't know how to go about it. Information about the Live My C.H.O.I.C.E. contest

Our hope is that the contest will provide those who may not have the resources to receive weight-loss surgery a chance to make a change in their lives. Through the contest, three inspirational people will receive a LAP-BAND® System procedure and one year of follow-up care, compliments of Allergan, Inc. (surgeon will be of the winners’ choosing). Through stories from people who have had to deal first-hand with societal and financial obstacles, the contest will help shine light on the reality of what people, like you, have to work through to undergo weight-loss surgery. We hope that through their stories, others may feel empowered to make a change to regain their health.

 How to Enter: To enter the contest, all you have to do is submit a short essay or video about how your weight has impacted your health and your life, and why you think the LAP-BAND® System may be the tool to help you achieve your weight-loss goal.
